Playboy's warning - Jan 25

A limo is shows pulling into the backstage garage of the arena. It stops and the driver exits to proceed to the back door. He pulls open the door and The Playboy steps out, much to the delight of the crowd who applaud. Playboy fixes his suit, reaches in and steps aside to help two gorgeous women out of the limo. The ladies take Playboy’s arms as the driver closes the door. Playboy reaches into his pocket, pulls out some money and thanks the driver while handing him a tip. Joey Porter approaches as the group steps away from the limo.

Joey: “Playboy... tonight, you have a #1 contender match against Max Thomas, who defeated you in the 2 of 3 submission match on Friday Revive. How do you feel about your chances tonight?”

Playboy slowly pulls his arms away from the ladies, them removes his sunglasses and places them in the inside pocket of his suit jacket.

Playboy: “Joey... in the grand scheme of things, a submission match means absolutely... nothing. It is one match in our business that clearly favors a certain type of wrestler. Sure... he can sit in the back room patting himself on the back.... circle-jerking with his friends... whatever... because he barely got one over on The Playboy in a match that fits him best. Good for him. But everyone knows... any other type of match and that victory is mine. There were plenty of opportunities where I would have had him down 1... 2... 3... in the middle of that ring. I know it... the fans know it...”

The fans respond in applause.

Playboy: “... the ladies know it. And above all... Max Thomas knows it. Even Management knows it. You see... management knows that The Playboy puts asses in the seats.”

Playboy raises his voice as he starts to get amped up.

Playboy: “People come to Powerhouse Wrestling shows to see The Playboy. They don’t walk away from shows saying ‘Wow... did you see that Max Thomas. Isn’t he amazing?’. They walk away from our shows saying ‘Did you see The Playboy? Playboy is huge! Playboy is so good looking! Playboy... is the best there is!!’”

Playboy calms down.

Playboy: “When tonight is said and done... Max Thomas will return to being Mr. Mid-Card... The Playboy will take his place as Mr. Main Event. Max Thomas will be left on his back, staring at the lights, while I....”

Playboy extends his arms a bit and the 2 ladies approach and take his arms again.

Playboy: “... will take these two fine specimens, hop back into this limo to the airport, hop on MY jet and party the night away in my $25,000 a night suite at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Max Thomas... tonight is YOUR night! Tonight... I will make YOU... and example of what everyone here in Powerhouse Wrestling... and RockyVlad... can expect to see from The Playboy. Rocky... you shine up that belt real nice... because once I’m done with Max Thomas tonight... it will be you... and me. Count on it.”

Playboy and the ladies walk away from Joey as the audience applauds.
