Gimmick:
Patrick is a cocky and arrogant "young" superstar, with a out of control temper.
He has been in a wrestling business for some time now and therefor thinks that he knows it, inside and out.
He is known for causing chaos backstage and got no problem in making more foes than friends.
History:
Back-story:
Born (1984) and raised in Denmark, Patrick moved to Australia to study for 1 year when he was 17.
During his time there he meet Martial Art expert and trainer Michael Green, who took Patrick in and trained Patrick during Patrick`s free time, at his Integrated Martial Academy.
Patrick returned to Denmark and continued to train MMA for 1 more year, at the MMA academy "Fight Pit"
in Herning before getting into wrestling.
When he turned 19 Patrick started to train pro wrestling with the Danish wrestling champion “Chaos” who took him in a thought him about the business.
When he turned 20 Patrick moved to USA and joined a small local wrestling promotion called “Danish Hardcore Wrestling”.
Danish Hardcore Wrestling:
Patrick joined DHW under the leadership of GM “Mr. PPV” .
He won his first match against “Tamasuti” and qualified for the intercontinental title tournament.
Patrick won the tournament and won the intercontinental title.
Patrick then started to feud with “The Bull” and they ended up feuding for 2 month where the IC title changed hand 4 times, in the end “The Bull” walked out of the feud with the win and the title.
Patrick then turned to the tag team division, and joined forces with “John Santon” they ended up winning the tag titles 3 times, and feuded with the likes of; “up and down”, “beer and smoke” and “The generation”.
The team then split up and went separate ways.
Patrick then feuded with a lot of superstars and won the Hardcore title 14 times.
He then started to focus on the world title, and won it from “Mr. PPV”, then lost it 2 month later, and the won it back a month later in a Hell in a Cell match.
He then lost it again to “Mr. PPV” in a loser leaves town match, and Patrick had to leave DHW.
Stormy Wrestling Inc:
Patrick then joined SWI under GM “el valo” he lost his first match, to a SWI jobber.
Patrick then made the mistake of attacking Abyss O"s brother in season I.
He tried to assassin Abyss O"s himself, because some boss ordered him to do so.
Later we found out that this boss was actually one of Patrick's split personalities.
Nonetheless Patrick was forced into an ambulance match with Abyss O"s at Title Rains.
An ambulance match he lost.
In season 2
Patrick took the DHW title to SWI and defended it 24/7 and fought guys like abyss, piter and crazydude but lost it to piter in a 4
man steel cage at the ppv.
In Season 3
Patrick was in a tournament for the monsoon title but got knocked out of the tournament and then at the ppv he went into a draw in a ladder match against armor
claw.
In Season 4
Patrick feuded with Armor Claw over the right to keep Carmella on SWI, he defeated Armor Claw in a parking lot brawl at the ppv with some help from The Kid.
All Start Pro Wrestling:
2 weeks later Patrick signed with, APW he feuded with “The Kid” over the US title for about 1 month.
He won the title in a ladder match, but because he got on the bad side of GM “Killer X” he was stripped of the title and fired 1 week later.
Charismatic Championship Wrestling:
Patrick then signed with CCW under GM “Mitch Shredder” feuded over the Hardcore title and won it 4 times before CCW closed down.
World Wrestling Inc:
Patrick signed with WWI under GM “Morgan Rock”.
He came out on his debut night and demanded to get a Partner “Monchoman” answered, he tried to burn the American flag, but Patrick stopped him and later that night defeated him in a one on one match.
For the next couple of weeks Patrick came out and looked for a partner, many turned down his offer and he faced them all and both won and lost some of the matches.
Patrick was then taken out by “Patrick Bourne”.
He returned 2 month later and took out “Patrick Bourne”.
Patrick then tried to team with “Shane Sebastian” but after they lost their first match, Shane turned on him and Patrick went back to his single road.
He then participated in the MITB match, but lost it.
He then feuded with Joe Chin and the OSA, they faced off in a ladder leather strap match, Chin won it.
Patrick was then out for some weeks and returned later.
He then turned on WWI and joined CCW in the invasion, him and “Saurav” then won the tag titles from Crossroad.
But the two could not coeksist as a team and they showed that through the whole season.
Then at the PPV they lost the titles to "the beauty and the beast" Covell used most of the match on crowd surfing and Saurav used the whole match on getting beaten up..and saurav got pinned costing them the titles!
Patrick then used the 4 next week on losing match after match to guys like "Luke" and "Max Thomas". then in the next season he lost the right to face X champion Shane Sebastian and started talking backstage about Shane blaming him for the lack of succes that "Generation next" had, he ended up starting a feud with "The Breaker" fighting him in 3 different matches, and ended up winning the feud by defeating "Breaker" in a one on one match,before the Pay Per View.
Patrick then came out at the Pay Per View, and started to argue with "Shane Sebastian" who had just defended his X Title.
At the beginning of the next season, Patrick challenged Shane for the title, but Shane was to scared and quit WWI, making the title vacant.
Patrick then faced Insa for the title, but was screwed in the match by #6.
Patrick the focused on #6, and took him out in a hard one on one match.
Then at the PPV Patrick faced Insa in a Ladder Match, and ended up stomping Insa's face in, with a Curb-stomp, and ended up winning the ladder match and the title.
Becoming the new WWI International Champion.
Covell then used the next month on feuding with Insa and ended up beating Insa on the last ever WWI show, leaving WWI as the last ever International Champion.
Independent Athletes Federation:
Patrick came to IAF to start a new carer for himself, but only ended up staying there for 4 weeks then being released.
Naughty Championship Wrestling:
Patrick was the first wrestler to get signed by NCW.
He participated in the first match ever in NCW beating Monkeydude with a quick roll up in the Heavyweight title tournament.
Later the same night he beat Ettore Tosi and moved on to face Shane Sebastian in the finals of the tournament, but ended up getting screwed by Shane and losing the match.
Patrick then used the rest of the season on walking through hell to get to the first PPV, he made it to the PPV and face Shane And Jhonny Be in a 3 way dance for the world title but again came up short.
In the next season Patrick got a spot in the elimination chamber match that was to be held at the next PPV. Patrick fought back and forth with Jhonny Be and Turg, and took a beating from time to time. Then at the PPV Patrick fought his way through the Chamber and ended up standing face to face with Shane Sebastian as the last two men in chamber. Patrick ended up getting pinned by Shane and once again came up short in winning the title.
Backstage politics forced Patrick to leave NCW during the season break, he left NCW on good terms
with most of the people in the fed.
Oceania Championship Wrestling:
Patrick arrived in OCW and made an impact instantly!
He competed in the TLC match a Heart Beat, he lost the match but still stole the show.
Patrick used the next season on competing in the gold rush tournament, but lost the semifinal match, after he was attacked by a unknown masked man.
Patrick later left OCW because of the professionalism the GM showed.

locks his hand upon his own wrist, and then pulls his opponent forward, causing pressure on his opoonent's arm and neck. executing

a standing wrist lock on his opponent, then places his foot on his
opponent's face and falls backwards,forcing his opponent's face into his

Patrick Covell then takes one step back, and kick his opponent right in the face, knocking his opponent down.
